Master of Professional Accounting
Waikato’s Master of Professional Accounting is an internationally recognised qualification (CAANZ, CPA Australia and ACCA) that will prepare you to launch a professional career as a provisional Chartered Accountant after just 14 months of study!
You will develop advanced skills and knowledge in all the core areas of accounting and business, apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to practical accounting situations. Starts November or January.
Master of Digital Business
Learn how digital technology is rapidly changing the business environment with a specialised master’s degree in this cutting-edge field. Develop the expertise to bridge the knowledge gap between IT and management. Study online or on-campus, starting February or July.
You'll gain advanced knowledge of how the latest digital and e-commerce technologies – such as big data, gamification and beacon technology - are transforming business operations across all industries. Develop the management skills to lead digital transformation strategies on behalf of public and commercial organisations.
The professional stream features an industry internship working at a company of your choice for 2-3 months.
Master of Business and Management
A transformative 12-month business masters degree starting in November or March each year - open to graduates of any discipline, from arts to science.
Equip yourself with a comprehensive understanding of the global business environment and develop the professional skills and personal attributes to successfully lead organisations in today’s dynamic, technologically competitive markets.
Includes an industry placement at a relevant workplace, and a 'Dragon's Den'-style business competition.
Looking to quickly acquire new skills to build an amazing new career? Stuck in a job that no longer satisfies you?
A Graduate Diploma offers you a one-year pathway to rapidly gain expertise in a specialist area of business that you're excited about, but have never studied before at university.
A Graduate Diploma consists of eight undergraduate papers (120 points) in a single subject. It's a smart way to switch careers when you already have a bachelor's degree in a different field.
