Eva Collins is Associate Dean of Research and Postgraduate at Waikato Management School; Director of the New Zealand Institute for Business Research; Council Member, University of Waikato; Trustee of the Community Enterprise Leadership Foundation; Lifetime Member Clare Hall, Cambridge University for sustainability research.
Her research is focused at the nexus of management and sustainability including topics such as the circular economy and cross-sector partnerships.
Prior to her University appointment, she did government affairs in Washington, D.C. for ten years for United Technologies Corporation.

Research Interests
Research interest is focused at the nexus of strategy and sustainability. Current research includes:
Āmiomio Aotearoa - A circular economy for the wellbeing of New Zealand. The circular economy presents a major opportunity to improve NZ’s long-term competitiveness and create value in many sectors of the economy, whilst at the same time improving productivity and enabling a transition to a sustainable, low-emission, and climate-resilient future (https://www.waikato.ac.nz/research-enterprise/research-with-waikato/amiomio-aotearoa).
Key researcher on cross-sector partnerships as part of a research programme funded by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), entitled, "People, Cities and Nature: Restoring indigenous nature in urban environments" (https://www.peoplecitiesnature.co.nz).
