About Marlini

Marlini Bakri is a lecturer in marketing at Waikato Management School. She has held academic and industry roles in marketing in a variety of institutions in New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Marlini's research intersects the areas of digital communications and marketing. Her current research examines the influence of digital content on consumer behaviour and decision-making in key industries; specifically tourism and healthcare.
