Which degree should I choose?
If your goal is to become a professionally qualified accountant (CA ANZ, CPA Australia, or ACCA), we offer three approved accounting degree pathways for you to choose from. This means you'll need to take a suite of 15-18 specific papers in accounting, economics, finance and management. See the individual qualification pages for details.
Bachelor of Business

Waikato Management School's accounting degrees are accredited by three of the world's leading professional bodies, which means your skills will be recognised and respected by employers in other countries if you'd like to work overseas.

Once you've completed your degree, you can then apply for provisional membership of any of those orgnisations. This will significantly accelerate your career prospects and enhance your earning potential.
To become a fully qualified professional accountant, you will need to gain three years' work experience in an accounting role, and then pass the Professional Exams.
