Case synopsis | Steve Vamos, newly appointed CEO of Xero glanced up at their large soon to be finished premises in Parnell, Auckland. Xero had found its success through building accounting software products. Going forward, if they were to think about segmented strategies in the New Zealand market, they could no longer just talk about cloud accounting. Xero needed to start to position itself in the small business product arena. They were no longer just about reconciliation and reporting. Today Xero is about beautiful accounting software. Tomorrow, it is about beautiful business. The question – What are the opportunities for tomorrow for small businesses using cloud software? |
