Our PhD students come from every corner of the globe. They undertake theoretical and applied research within all the core disciplines of management, as well as an increasing number of multidisciplinary fields.

Domestic students

Regulations for the PhD

Waikato Management School welcomes applications that potentially align with staff research interests.

However, please note that an MBA qualification or similar is not by itself regarded as adequate postgraduate training for the purpose of PhD study.

A more specialised masters qualification is regarded as a more appropriate background for a successful application.
