WMS Peer support programme

Learn how to make the most of your time here at University by pairing up with a current management student.

What is the WMS peer support programme?

The peer support programme is a joint initiative between the Waikato Management School and student clubs - Waikato Management School Students' Association (WMSSA), Te Ranga Ngaku (TRN), Beta Alpha Psi (BAP), Pacific Island Management Students' Association (PIMSA), Management Communication Students' Association (MCSA) and Study Abroad Network (SAN).

We offer support to all new students in their first trimester by connecting them with a current student at Waikato Management School.

This person will act as your personal leader for the trimester, drawing on their own experiences to help give advice and support you on everything from classes, study strategies, student groups and resources, to clubs and social activities in Hamilton.

How do I sign up?

Applications for A trimester are now open.  If you would like to sign up for a peer leader, register here.
