Master of Business Administration (Part One)

Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies

Waikato's Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies is a prestigious two-year qualification aimed at middle managers, professionals and business owners who wish to gain the skills required for effective management and a global understanding of business.

It is a stand-alone qualification in its own right, but also represents Part One of the Master of Business Administration.

Classes are taught part-time in Tauranga every second Saturday, 8.30am - 5pm.

Through practical case studies and lively discussions, you'll gain a holistic understanding of all the key areas of management that you can apply to your own business or organisation.

This includes business strategy, leading high-performance teams, organisational behaviour, logistics and operations management, human resources, marketing, managerial accounting, financial markets and investment decision-making, commercial and employment law, and change management.

This qualification is offered by Waikato Management School's Executive Education department.
